Shades Recording Studio is a professional music studio founded in 2020, offering high-level recording, mixing, mastering, music composition, and production services.
What began as a small apartment studio has grown into a fully equipped commercial space producing reocrds that have success as great as Billboard Hot 100. Since its founding, Shades has worked with artists from Greater New Orleans, across the United States, and internationally, producing music that translates both artistically and commercially.
Our catalog spans pop, indie, alternative, electronic, and hip-hop, with projects ranging from independent releases to major-label–level productions.
Shades Recording Studio was founded by Louis Ciarrocchi, a platinum-selling, Billboard Hot 100 producer and graduate of Loyola University New Orleans’ School of Music. Since launching the studio, Louis has worked with major artists while maintaining a hands-on approach to every project—bringing attention to detail, technical precision, and creative care.
